About this Race Series
Our goal is to connect the global trail-running community. For 2025, from Cincinnati Trails to Abroad, we offered the winners (male and female) of the trail race series an opportunity to travel to Nepal and participate in a 30k, 55k, or 100k ITRA-approved trail race organized by Pokhara ULTRA.

Alpine Trail Series – Points System Announcement
“All runners competing in the Alpine Trail Series will earn points at every designated series race. Points are awarded based on overall finishing position, with higher placements earning more points, and longer distances carrying greater value.
Your best results across the series will count toward your final score, rewarding consistency while allowing flexibility across the season.
At the end of the series, points will be tallied separately for men and women.
The highest-scoring male and female athletes will earn the opportunity to witness the Asia Pacific Trail Running Championship—a bi-annual event that brings together Asia’s elite trail runners.
The first Asia Pacific Trail Running Championship was held in 2024 in South Korea, and the second edition will take place in 2026, raising the competitive bar even higher.
In addition, the overall Alpine Trail Series champions will receive an all-expenses-paid trip, including international flights* and 5 Days of bed & breakfast, to race at the Grand Wuyi Trail Race in Wuyishan, China—a UNESCO dual World Heritage Site known for its stunning trails and cultural significance. visit: https://wuyitrailrace.com/#details
