About this Race Series
Legendary Race Series is a new global multi-stage ultra race series granting runners access to some of the most remote, historic, and chronicled landscapes and locations in the world. Courses will be rugged, extreme conditions and temperatures can be expected, and everyone will be challenged physically and mentally. Events will all have prize money and a focus on increasing the percentage of women participating in ultras. All races have important local charity components. Events will include footraces and mountain biking races. Every race will be annual, with one new race added each year for the next several years.
All races are fully self-supported--no aid stations, no drop bags. We provide water and tents. We also provide markers throughout the course--flags, ties, glow-in-the-dark sticks, all will mark your way. This is not a race of self-navigation. You do however need to provide mental toughness, physical preparation, and everything you’ll need for the week. Whatever you begin the race with on your back is all you will have for the entirety of the race so careful kit and food planning is essential.
We are focused on professionalism, risk management, and providing a top-level experience not just race week, but from the time you register. We hope you will join in the hardest race you'll ever love!
