Join ARF for a spectacular night of Halloween-themed fun to benefit our shelter renovation campaign! The Howl-O-Ween Pawty is all about community, costumes, and compassion, helping us raise funds for essential upgrades that support the animals who need us most. You'll enjoy:

As much as we love seeing your adorable companions, we kindly ask that you leave pets at home for this event. You’ll still enjoy the spirit of the season through our photo display of costumed pets, adoptable profiles, and more!
Send us your pets in costume photos, and they will be displayed at the event!

Why This Event Matters
New York State’s Companion Animal Care Standards Act sets new requirements to ensure that animals in shelters receive safe, comfortable, and enriching care. To align with these standards, and to continue providing the best possible care to our animals, ARF is working to enhance key parts of our shelter facility, including:
- Modernized kennel spaces
- Year-round ventilation and temperature control
- Improved sanitation and recovery areas
- Better lighting and enrichment spaces

About ARF
The Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) is a no-kill, volunteer-run nonprofit based in Beacon, NY. Founded in 1986 by Barbara Shea, ARF was built on a legacy of compassion and community service. With a volunteer base that has sustained operations for nearly 40 years, ARF has become a trusted resource for animal rescue and adoption in Dutchess County.
Our shelter, originally gifted by the City of Beacon, houses up to nine dogs and thirty-six cats. Features include free-roam cat rooms, dog kennels with outdoor runs, and large play yards. ARF has adopted out more than 424 animals since 2019, while continuing to provide care for those deemed harder to place
With your help, we can bring ARF into full compliance with state standards and continue our mission of compassion and care for every animal that comes through our doors.
