Big Bear's Lakefest returns for year 2 at Ski Beach Park in beautiful Big Bear Lake, California. This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever with higher flying action, bigger bands, and more epic races!

Paddle Lakefest (SATURDAY 8/23)- a collection of paddle races on Stand-Up Paddleboards, Kayaks, and more! The relay race is accessible to all and doesn’t even require you to have your own boat. There will be distances of:

-Paddlefest 5K - The OG race. Bring your fastest vessel and challenge the masses in this winner takes all battle. 
-Lakefest Classic 10k - Test your hand at endurance at altitude. Beautiful and challenging 10k distance. 
-The Dooley Cup - A 20k paddle circumnavigating all of Big Bear Lake! Not for the faint.
-Paddle, Paddle, Pass Relay - No boat or experience required! This is our shortest race that gets your friends and family out on the water with you.

Swim Lakefest (SUNDAY 8/24) - Back to back Open Water Swim races on Big Bear Lake! 2.4 and 1.2 mile races at altitude. Perfect for triathlon training! Start on the sand at Swim Beach, head out to the tip of Eagle Point, and then return for an exit onto the grass at Ski Beach Park (Lakefest HQ).  Sunday race start at 7:30AM. Awards and post race celebration to follow.

Ultimate Arm Wrestling League (SATURDAY 8/23)- Pro/Amateur event for official UAL California rankings. $5000 prize purse.  Enjoy the spectacle you didn’t know you needed in your life! 9AM - Registration and Weigh In, 12PM Competition Start

BMX Action Sports Show, with athletes from Nitro Circus & ESPN XGames - high-flying acrobatics and lakeside tricks to pump you up. FRIDAY and SATURDAY at 6PM.  

Demo Days, with top athletic brands including Adidas, Topo Athletic, La Sportiva, Suunto and others. Try out some of the latest outdoor gear and connect with brands. GROUP DEMO RUN Saturday 8/23 at 9AM. 

And More including an enhanced Kids Zone, Karate Demonstration, Drum Circle, Custom Wood Carving, and Live Painting.

Transportation - Lakefest joins our friends at Mountain Transit and Big Bear Cycling Association to promote alternate modes of transportation to the event and all weekend long. Our signature lakeside location at Ski Beach will have no on-site parking. We love our neighbors! So, ride your bike and park at the bike valet or park in our satellite lot parking lot at the corner of Fox Farm & Garstin Dr. and hop on the FREE Mountain Transit Shuttle for a 1 mile ride to Lakefest location. The Details:
All ages are welcome! This is a family friendly event. Sorry but there is NO LAKE/WATER ACCESS at Big Bear's Lakefest.

If you want to get on the water make sure to participate in PADDLE LAKEFEST and/or SWIM LAKEFEST. Swim Beach Park managed by Parks and Recreation is at the same location and open on Saturday from 11-4 for a $10 admission fee. There is also free lake access at other locations around the lake.

Think of Lakefest at more of a party on the shore to celebrate the lake!

Lakefest is a rain or shine event and will proceed except in the cases of unsafe weather conditions. Lineup and set times are subject to change without notice.
