Our female Andean Bear, Chaska, is a new mom to three-month-old twins and is in desperate need of a new maternity den. The current den, which has been in our facility for many years, needs significant improvements to make it a perfect space for our bears to raise their cubs to be healthy and strong! 

To make it fun, we've created a mock baby registry to help fund the project! Here's how it works. Browse the baby gift registry and pick something you like. Each gift has been assigned a value between $15 and $2500, which would be your donation to the bear maternity den. There is no limit to how many you can purchase. 

Those that meet our donation threshold of $150 will automatically be given two tickets to our private baby shower event on June 23rd from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. with Chaska and her babies! Cake, baby shower games, music, and more will make for a BEAR-y fun night of celebration. For each additional $50 spent over the $150, another shower ticket will be given. Those that donate $500 and above will receive a painting by Pinocchio!

We hope you'll contribute to our baby registry! Although mom and babies won't really get a stroller or a rocking chair, we hope that, with your donations, we can provide our bears with a safe, warm place to grow and thrive for decades to come.
