Each year the Santa Cruz Yacht Club organizes the Day on the Monterey Bay Regatta to support a non-profit organization in Santa Cruz County. This fundraising event features sailing races, dinner, music, raffles, a silent auction, and lots of fun!

Once again, they have chosen to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Santa Cruz County, and even if you are not sailing you can get tickets for dinner to help support our youth mentoring programs.

When: Sunday, July 31, 2022

Where: Santa Cruz Yacht Club, west side lower harbor

Cost:

• $35 Gourmet Dinner
• $65 Bottle of Wine
• $10 Raffle: featuring amazing various items from local businesses
• $100 Raffle: 1-week vacation rental (destinations around the world) and $1500 credit for airfare
• $75 Chardonnay II Sailboat Ride in race action!
• $100 Chardonnay II Sail and Dinner
• $150 Sponsor a Match on the Chardonnay II

Regatta Network Site: Skippers must register yachts and sign waivers on Club Spot at: scyc.org/regattas

Yacht Registration is $1 in addition to the required registration process below. If you wish to sail but do not have a place on a boat yet should please e-mail regatta@santacruzmentor.org

Event Timeline: 

• 10:00 AM: Registration Opens, Skipper/Sailor Check-in
• 11:30 AM: Skippers Meeting
• 12:30 PM: Chardonnay Check In
• 1:00 PM: Sailing Race Starts, Chardonnay Boarding
• 3:00 PM Dinner Starts, Bar Opens, Silent Auction 
• 4:00 PM: Silent Auction Closes, Start $10 Raffle Winners
• 5:30 PM: Regatta Race results and award
• 5:45 PM: $100 Raffle Announced, Finish all $10 Raffle, Winners
• 6:00 PM: Wrap-up and Event Ends
