The 2025 Festival D’Avion on Saturday November 22nd has been postponed to Spring 2026. 

Our priority was safety — for our guests, pilots, volunteers, vendors, and partners. While rain wasn’t the immediate concern, hazardous visibility and additional upcoming weather forecast created unsafe conditions for military and private aircraft to land at Moore County Airport. It was an extremely difficult decision, but one that had to be made to protect everyone involved.

We know how disappointing this was for our attendees — we truly wanted nothing more than to finish out this milestone year with you.  The standard policy for the festival is no refunds are issued, so we will roll your ticket over to March 2026.  A new date will be announced as soon as possible. All previous ticket purchases will be honored at this later date.

This year’s celebration of Freedom and Flight features military aircraft, precision flyovers from the Bandit Flight Team and other aircraft, vintage planes, parachute jump teams, fixed wing and helicopter sightseeing tours, live music, the 82nd Airborne Chorus, local vendors, a Junior Pilot KidsZone with massive inflatables and games, tons of free candy for the kids, a Halloween costume contest, food and beverages, and so much more.
