Important:
Lights of Hope asks that all volunteers call (864) 314 8600 to let them know which day and time you plan to attend. They need this information as soon as possible to prepare for lunch and volunteer coverage.
If you volunteer on Thanksgiving Day, the entire shift, I was told they provide a Thanksgiving meal for the volunteers. Confirm this with Lights of Hope if you are interested in volunteering on Thanksgiving Day.

When you arrive to volunteer on Thursday, December 4 you will enter at the back gate. Pass the Social Security Office and turn right. You will see a sign that says no cars beyond this point but you can keep driving. They will have big parking lot for volunteers to park.
Lights of Hope will have a fire pit. Lights of Hope said to bring a drink. They do have bathrooms, and to bring a Camp Chair if needed. We will be standing all night, so not sure if we will need a chair.
Two people per car. Collect admission fee and hand PlaySafe book and tell about our mission.
It is very important as you sign up that you attend. We need eight volunteers to participate.
No children below the gate under the age of 18 per The Lights of Hope.
Security provided by The Lights of Hope to help with traffic.
Assist with front gate operations.
*If you can only come for two hours, email me and let me know. We can split the time between volunteers.

PlaySmart Student Ambassador Program
PlaySmart Student Ambassador Program
We’re looking for student ambassadors to join the PlaySmart Program, a partnership between PlaySafe USA and First Flight Alliance. As a PlaySmart Ambassador, you’ll help raise awareness about the risks and dangers of opioid misuse and abuse among your peers.
What You’ll Do:
* Set up lunchroom table displays with PlaySmart materials.
* Partner with school clubs and teams to spread prevention messages.
* Help create a culture of healthy choices on and off the field.
What You’ll Gain:
  Volunteer hours (eligible for school or service requirements)
  Entry into the Jake Lewis Memorial Scholarship program - Awarded to 1 female and male senior in July each year
  Real-world leadership and community service experience 
  Complimentary race bibs for the Electric City Gobbler 5K and America’s 5K
