This fundraising event supports the Y's scholarship fund, ensuring that membership and programs remain accessible to everyone in the South Bend community. Your support allows us to offer essential services and uphold our commitment to inclusivity. Together, we can make a difference in our community.

With your support, in 2023 we provided 281 scholarships to members and contributed to 93 scholarships for campers at YMCA Camp Eberhart.

 With our footprint in South Bend expanding this summer with our Downtown South Bend YMCA location we are excited to serve even more of our community. Additionally, our partnership with the City of South Bend Venues, Parks & Arts remains strong. We are excited by the impact our two organizations have made together and look forward to many more years of collaboration. 

HOW IT WORKS

The YMCA’s Greatest Chefs of Michiana fundraiser is the most delicious way to make a difference in your community! Local restaurants and community leaders or ‘celebrities,’ team up, and together, they create a dish as they vie for the top spot in a friendly competition between pairs. But it’s not just about the food – it’s about making a difference! Each team will raise funds for the YMCA through votes before and during the event. And when the night is over, the team with the most votes will taste sweet victory, claiming the title of ‘Greatest Chefs!’
