Build Trybe is a mentorship community that builds health, independence and empowers youth with employable skills. It is a bridge connecting youth, who lack a stable support system, to opportunity. Our team of trade experts and community partners introduce and connect youth to three skill-based career paths: culinary, horticultural, and construction.

Dr. Moss with MyoCore-Personalized Pain Care will be speaking about the correlation between stress and the pain cycle. Specifically, the feedback loop between chemical reactions in our brains of the two processes. Identity Theft.  In this workshop, you’ll learn how identity thieves can steal your personal information and what’s at risk when they do. We’ll look at examples of different types of scams — including phishing, phone, and elder fraud scams — show you how to spot them and how to protect yourself from becoming a victim. QPR. Suicide Prevention Course - June 12th 11:00AM - 12:00PM

Question. Persuade. Refer. Three steps anyone can learn to help prevent suicide. Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save lives.  Join fellow KC Corporate Challengers in the most widely taught suicide prevention course worldwide.  Netsmart is offering this course free of charge through their EveryDayMatters Foundation as an opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to one another and the communities they serve. Content is developed by the QPR Institute and facilitated by certified Netsmart associates. Upon completion of the course attendees will receive a certificate as a Certified Gatekeep from the QPR Institute.

All sessions will be held virtually on Zoom, maximum of 300 participants per session (first come first serve).  Participants are to enroll online in order to get the zoom link sent to them. Sessions available Feb 1st-June 30th.
