In commemoration of the vibrant spirit of Luca Iacono, an 11-year-old Middletown student who touched the lives of many with his strength, athleticism, and wit, we have united over the past two years to organize the Love for Luca 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run.  This event stands as a testament to Luca’s life and legacy, bringing together friends, family, classmates, educators, and community leaders in a celebration of unity and goodwill.

Since Luca heartbreakingly lost his life to Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer,  all 2024 race proceeds will once again be donated to the local non-profit organization Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer.  Operated entirely by volunteers, this organization assists with fulfilling pediatric cancer treatment research grants while also providing emotional and financial aid to children and families who are undergoing cancer treatment.

We are currently seeking companies with like-minded intentions: to foster community while working toward the common goals of ending childhood cancer and easing the burden of families affected by this disease. We hope that you will consider partnering with us for the 3rd Love for Luca 5K Run/Walk and Kids Race, which will be held on September 22, 2024, at Middletown High School North.
