Veterans, join us on a 2-3 hour leisurely float down the Manistee River to the Old US 131 State Forest Campground in Fife Lake where we will hang out and rustic camp the night under the stars and next to a bonfire!

• Food, drinks, snacks, tents, and some camping gear provided.

• Limited float tubes, kayaks, canoes are available so bring what you have.

• Camp games, corn hole, day hike & venture, hammock nap, whatever.

Saturday August 19th

• 1000 hrs - meet at the Barracks to load up - transportation can be provided by bus to the Lucas Rd. launch and camp ground if you need. Scheduled trips back to the Barracks to be announced.

• 1100-1600 hrs - estimated launch and float

• 1700-2000 hrs - brats, hotdogs, burgers and drinks. Bring your own adult beverages if you'd like. Camp games or go down the trail along the river and venture, setup your tent, hang a hammock, meet a new friend, or whatever.

• 2300 hrs - last trip back to the Barracks via buss for those not staying the night. Overnight campers, keep the campfire going.

Sunday August 20th

• 0900 hrs - camp breakfast, pack up, police our area, head count

• 1200 hrs - bus back to the Barracks
