For all clinics please bring a printed copy of the study guide and also current ICR and/or US Alpine Competition Guide.

Electronic devices may be used to search through official U.S. Ski & Snowboard and FIS documents while taking examinations. Electronic devices and AI tools, however, may not be used to conduct general Internet searches, research external sources, or obtain answers beyond the content of the official rule documents while taking examinations. Calculators may be used to perform any required calculations.

Clinic registration starts at 8:15. Clinics start at 9:00 AM

2026 – 2027 Season

Registration for all clinics (live or virtual) will be conducted through RunSignUp.com at:
https://runsignup.com/TicketEvent/RMSROClinics2026 Register as soon as possible as
materials for each clinic will be shared electronically via your correctly entered email address.
The credit card cost for the full day(s) “live” clinics is $25.00 and for the virtual clinics is
$15.00.

You are required to attend an Update and Review (CE) every year. Check your history
and register! Don’t let your Alpine Official Certifications lapse.

The RMSRO Annual Membership Meeting will be conducted at 9:00 AM on Saturday, 11/07/26
in a hybrid format, both virtual and live.

All live clinics will be held at the Leadville Campus of Colorado Mountain College, 901 US
HWY 24, Leadville, CO 80461 in the New Discovery(ND) Building or the Climax
Molybdenum(CM) building.

Saturday, 11/7 - Technical Delegate (TD) Workshop: 10:00 AM until the end of topics. This
workshop is required annually for all RMSRO Technical Delegates.

Thursday, 11/12 – CE from 6:30 PM until complete (Open to all, but primarily for live clinic
instructors unable to make the TD Workshop on 11/07.

Saturday 11/14 and Sunday 11/15 all day
Race Administration and using race result software – Split Second (RRS -SS) 
Download the SplitSecond Software at splitsecond.com. Please review the hardware requirements
and have it loaded onto the PC/Mac you will be using for your duties.

Saturday 11/14 and Sunday, 11/15 - Timing & Calculations Basic (TC1): starting at 9:00 AM. Complete the Study
Guide practice problems prior to the clinic for a lively discussion.

Saturday, 11/14 - Chief of Race (CR): starting at 9:00 AM.

Sunday, 11/15 - Referee (RF) and Jury Advisor (JA): starting at 9:00 AM. All participants must
complete the on-line Competition Officials (CO) quiz and submit a paper copy to the
instructors, or electronically to ken.gay@hotmail.com prior to the clinic start.

Thursday, 11/19 - CE from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM

Monday, 11/23 – RA Workshop from 6:30 PM until complete. This workshop is required for
all RAs.

Tuesday, 11/24 – CE from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM

Tueday, 12/15 – CE from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM

Wednesday, 12/16 – CE from 9 AM until noon

Thursday, 12/17 – CE from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM
