In honor of Kelly DeHart, the NC/VA Striper Association is proud to present the first Reelin' for NF Research on Kelly's Wings fishing tournament! All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Neurofibromatosis Network, the leading national organization advocating for federal funding for NF research and building and supporting NF communities.
Participants in the tournament will gather the night before on March 25th for a Captain's Meeting to pay your entry fee and collect your measuring board. This tournament is a CPR tournament - catch, photo, release. 1st - 3rd prize winners will be guaranteed with additional prizes to be awarded after 20 boat entries. Additional 1st -3rd youth and women's divisional payouts are also guaranteed.
Interested in supporting the cause, but not interested in participating in the tournament? Join us for the ceremony and reception following the competition! Food, raffle tickets, and t-shirts will be available for purchase.

In Memory of Kelly
Kelly was a vibrant and loving young lady whose smile lit up a room. Diagnosed at age 10 with a disease she never let stand in her way, she turned the obstacles that life gave her and turned them into miracles. Many never knew of her battle with NF2 until she lost her hearing at age 21. Determined, she still obtained her nursing certification and Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a focus on Mental Health and Substance Abuse from UNC-Greensboro. She gained resiliency in herself and never let her disorder limit herself.
