Get ready to turn up the heat—our first-ever Taste the Tomato Salsa Competition is coming in hot! We're celebrating peak tomato season with a full-on salsa tasting showdown.

Come spice things up as a taster or a competitor!

Where: Canteen Brewhouse – 2381 Aztec Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107
When: Sunday, August 24th | 12–3 PM
What: A spicy salsa showdown where you get to pick the winner!

Tasting Tickets – $20
Includes: a salsa sample tray, chips, a pint of beer or root beer, and a vote for your favorite salsa.

Competitor Tickets – $10
Includes everything tasters get—plus the chance to win a prize and the title of Salsa Champion!

To compete, bring 1 gallon of homemade, tomato-based salsa to Canteen Brewhouse by 11 AM on Saturday, August 23rd.

The tasting runs from 1–3 PM on Sunday. Come by anytime during that window to grab your tray. We’ll announce the winner at 3 PM.

Tickets are limited and prices go up August 1st, so don’t wait.
