Event Description
Women's Living Well Project
Understanding Your Changing Body
8:30AM - 12:00PM | Misty G Fitness | 905 South Street, Mountain Home
The Women’s Living Well Project is a morning created for women to learn, connect, ask questions, and better understand the bodies we live in every day.
We’re bringing together five local professionals to share practical, approachable information on topics that affect women across every stage of life.
We’ll start by exploring why you may feel tired and what could be influencing your energy, followed by Pelvic Health 101 and a better understanding of the core and pelvic floor. From there, we’ll talk about why muscle matters and how to build it, especially as we age. We’ll also dive into joint health and why our joints can suddenly seem to have opinions of their own, and finish with a fascinating look at the tongue-body connection and how orofacial function can influence more than you might realize.
This workshop isn’t about overwhelming you with more things you “should” be doing. It’s about giving you useful information, helping you better understand your body, and connecting you with knowledgeable women and resources right here in our community.
This is just the beginning. The Women’s Living Well Project is designed to be an ongoing series, with future workshops featuring different speakers, conversations, and topics that support women’s health and well-being in every season of life.
Come curious. Bring your questions. And spend the morning investing in you.
