Join your Wolverine State 100 Ambassadors Noah & Andrew for a training run in Michigan's Upper Peninsula on the Pictured Rocks Lakeshore Trail!

Friday, July 31st

A group of us will be staying at Chocolay River RV & Campground (location below). There are also several other campgrounds, hotels, and vacation rentals throughout the Munising area if you prefer different accommodations.

Chocolay River RV & Campgrounds: LOCATION BOOKING

We plan to check into the campground around 4:00 PM. At 6:00 PM, we'll head out for a short shakeout run to loosen up, followed by time to relax and prepare for the next day. Please note that the starting point is 1hour & 45min away from this campground. We chose it because it has the luxury of running water and showers. 

Saturday, August 1st

We'll meet at 7:45 AM for a brief overview of the route, safety reminders, and final planning. We will begin running promptly at 8:00 AM.

Important: The run is point-to-point, so please coordinate a ride back to the starting location with another runner to retrieve your vehicle. Andrew or Noah are good people to connect with if you need transportation.

Pace & Time on Trail

This is intended to be a fun, social group run, not a race. We'll maintain an average pace of 11:30–13:30 per mile, with plenty of walking breaks, photo opportunities, and stops at our planned aid and water locations.

Plan on spending approximately 10 to 10.5 hours on the trail, so come prepared with enough food, hydration, and gear to comfortably enjoy a full day along one of Michigan's most beautiful trails.

- go our separate ways

- Optional-  Beaver Creek – 18 miles - Natural Creek FILTER REQUIRED

AID THREE: Chapel Beach: 26.0 miles Natural Creek FILTER REQUIRED
- Optional - Mosquito River: 30.4 miles Natural River FILTER REQUIRED

AID FOUR: Miners Castle: 35.4 miles / Potable water and restroom / PARKING (If we want to stay a vehicle we could.)

FINISH: Munising Falls: 42.4 miles END LOCATION PARKING
