22 2 None's Outdoor Venture presents a weekend whitetail hunt in Kingsley, MI. We are able to take up to 4 vets per each morning and afternoon slot - you choose which slot. Limited space available, this is a free event for Veterans.

Hunt Dates:

December 13th and 14th (with overnight on the 12th)
December 27th and 28th (with overnight on the 26th)

ATTENTION: First-Time Attendees

There will be a mandatory meet and greet in-person at Belay My Last Barracks in South Boardman at MWR Veterans Dinner on Monday, December 1st for any new participant to obtain copy of DD214 and board approval to get participate in the hunt.

Basic Requirements

All participants must be able to walk a quarter mile on uneven terrain

Details and What to Bring

• ID, hunting licenses, warm clothing & boots, blaze orange (limited supply can be provided), backpack for snacks and beverages, daily medications, and any legal firearm and ammo for hunting.

• Overnight gear for those spending the night: sleeping bag or warm blankets, basic toiletries, daily medications. There are no showers! Field hygiene implied.

• Dry event, intoxicated participants will be asked to be picked up. 

• ALL morning (A.M.) hunters MUST sleep at the barracks or arrive 1 hour prior to departure to car-pool to the hunting site. No more than 4 vehicles parking at the property to mitigate damage and impact on land.

• Your OV teammates and guides will assist with tracking, field dressing, and hauling your harvest out of the field as well as with quartering or securing it to your vehicle. We will also provide you with a list of local processors (with hopes of veteran discounts).

• For safety reasons, all firearms will be trigger locked or breech secured and unloaded within the lodging area, inspected by your OV teammate, and then secured in the trunk of your vehicle when not in the field.

• While food will be provided, feel free to bring a dish to pass.

Morning Hunt Info/Schedule

Morning hunts will require an overnight stay at Belay My Last Barracks in South Boardman, MI with the OVP team and guides. You can choose to hunt the morning of December 13th, December 14th, December 27th, or December 28th. Plan to arrive the evening before between 1700-1900. Dinner will be provided. There will be an army cot or air mattress provided.

Afternoon Hunt Info/Schedule

Afternoon hunters need to arrive by 1300 the day of the hunt. If you would like to join us for lunch, please arrive at Noon, however we will be providing you with a pack meal and snacks for the afternoon.

Please note that this event has limited space. Cancellations made within 2 days of the event result in loss of eligibility for the next two OV hunts.
