For more than 40 years, Alternatives has assisted people to become their “best selves.” As a non-profit organization, we have a commitment to our clients to help them reach their greatest potential. We serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum. We also serve individuals with mental illness as well as homeless individuals and families in greater Central New Jersey.
In 1979, when Alternatives was founded, we set forth on a mission to serve individuals in integrated community settings rather than in institutional, congregate living. We have grown and changed tremendously since the early days. What has not changed is our dedication to our clients, and we look forward to serving many more individuals with innovative ideas and services as well as tried and true methods.
With your support, Alternatives’ clients can achieve their goals and strive to fulfill their dreams.
