Description

The Toledo Mini Marathon is a scenic point-to-point half marathon starting in the uptown district of Maumee, Ohio, voted the best hometown in Ohio. Sidecut Metropark is your waypoint to U-turn and run back along River Rd, through residential Historic Maumee homes, past the Toledo Country Club, the Toledo Zoo, and into downtown Toledo. An exclusive finish awaits you in the outfield of the Toledo Mud Hens ballpark, voted one of the best minor league stadiums in America.

Signup for all four events as part of the Run the 419™ Series to secure the current rates for each, and receive a custom series medal after the final race. FAQ: You must signup as the series to receive the bonus medal.

The Toledo Mini Marathon and the Susan G Komen are partnering to provide NW Ohio a running experience like no other. Susan G Komen NW Ohio is celebrating 30 years in 2023 and is looking to hit it out of the park! Combined with the Toledo Mini Marathon, runners will have the option to run a 5K on Saturday, then either the quarter or half marathon on Sunday.

All participants 17 and under receive youth pricing. Discounts will automatically be applied at checkout.

BUSES

TARTA buses will be offered to transport participants from the finish line to the start line of the half and quarter marathons, prior to the race.

NOTE: There will NOT be buses going from the finish back to the start lines after the race, so make sure to park downtown to hop a ride. You must be in line by 6:15 a.m. to guarantee a spot on a bus to the start line.

This event is produced with great collaboration with the Maumee Chamber of Commerce. Through money raised, the Maumee Chamber is able to award scholarships to high school students in the Northwest Ohio area pursuing higher education. All donations are received directly by this charity partner.

All participants registering by Labor Day, Sept 4, 2023 will receive a game ticket good for any weekday game of the 2023 Mud Hens Season.

4 Person Relay

New for 2023 is a 4 person half marathon relay. Legs 1 and 2 begin at the Start line on Broadway at Union School.

Leg 1 (3.5 miles) -- Starts the race. Runs the out and back through Side Cut, hand off back at the start line.

Leg 2 (2.5 miles) Union School to Ft Miami School.

Leg 3 (3.4 miles) -- Ft Miami School to Walbridge Park.

Leg 4 (3.7 miles) -- Walbridge Park to the Finish Line

Event transportation is available from the Finish Line (Downtown) to Union School and Ft Miami School. No transportation to Walbridge Park. We suggest driving to Walbridge Park, but make sure to be there by 7:30am prior to roads closing.

Plan on carpooling on the way back to the finish as no event transportation is provided.

REGISTRATION POLICY

Due to the option for redeeming baseball tickets all season, refunds and deferrals are not accepted for the Toledo Mini.

We know unexpected things happen that may change your ability to attend a race, so we make it easy for registered participants to manage their entry with multiple options. Your chosen option must be initiated and approved at least 14 days prior to race day of the event for which you are registered.

  1. Transfer your existing entry to any qualifying Run Toledo event in the same calendar year. (Contact us directly to support this process.)

  2. Defer your new entry to the same event in the following calendar year. (Contact us directly to support this process.)

  3. Recoup your entry fee by transferring your race bib to another person who hasn’t yet signed up. The process is easily managed through your personal runsignup.com/profile online. Learn how: Video Tutorial

Refund Policy — Should an in-person event be cancelled at least 14 days prior to the event date, registrants may request a refund of 75% of their entry fee.
