The 5th Annual Vancouver, Washington (formerly Portland, OR) Run For Resilience Ostomy 5k will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019. All proceeds benefit the United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc. (UOAA) charity, a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible. (https://www.ostomy.org/)
RACE DAY SCHEDULE
9:00 a.m. Registration and Packet Pick-Up
10:00 a.m. 5K Run/Walk
There will be kids' activities, an opportunity to peruse the booths and get connected with suppliers, and local & national advocacy groups.
Please note the registration fee for those registering after September 13th will increase by 20% to $18.00 per person.
NEW Location this year! The Fun Run/Walk will take place at Marine Park, located at SE Marine Park Way & Columbia Way, Vancouver, WA. This 58.3-acre site offers walking trails, play equipment, ball fields, picnic shelters, restrooms, and the City's only public boat launch site. Marine Park is part of the Waterfront River Renaissance Trail, which connects the site to Waterfront Park. CLICK HERE to learn more about this new location.
You will be directed to the starting line and course prior to the start of the event, and volunteers will be stationed throughout the course to assist you.
The park is located at the corner of the address provided and there are two parking lots on either street.
A unisex or female v-neck size Race T-Shirt and race bib are included with your registration fee. To ensure you receive the T-Shirt size you ordered, please register by Friday, September 13th. We will do our best to provide you with the T-Shirt size you ordered or a similar size, however, this is not guaranteed after September 13th.
T-shirt pick up and on-site registration will be among the health fair booths within Marine Park.
Fundraising is an important aspect of our Run for Resilience Ostomy 5K. Funds raised help UOAA continue to provide resources, educational materials, advocacy and support to the ostomy and continent diversion community.
We invite you to set up your own Personal or Team Fundraiser when registering to participate in the event, or through our DONATION link at the top of this page. You can create a unique Fundraiser Name and URL address, personalize your fundraising message, and direct your friends and family to your page to join your team or sponsor you in your fundraising goal.
