I served in the United States Air Force for seven years, including a deployment to Afghanistan, and the transition out of the military was far harder than I ever expected. I struggled to find stability and my service dog MJ was my lifeline through some of my darkest moments. After my son was born, my service animal passed away, and losing that support system was devastating. That’s when 22 Mohawks stepped in and truly saved me. They listened, cared, and connected me with my current service dog in training, Doja, who is helping me rebuild my confidence, independence, and sense of safety. Supporting this fundraiser helps organizations like 22 Mohawks continue changing lives—mine included.
