Story

I am celebrating my 15 years beating Prostate  Cancer & Melanoma in 2011,                        Melanoma  did pop up again about 10 years ago , Squamous Cell Carcinoma was removed last December 2025 .
Lucky enough, to beat cancer for the 4 time .

i am a 17 year rider ,I  have been involved with Pedal the Cause since day 1 , on the committee the inaugural season, team captain for 3 years ,

Now a proud member of the Powered by Hope family for 14 years , recipient of the ,       Powered by Hope Champions Award , 

I do not consider myself a survivor, I was fortunate enough to catch my cancers early , I have not had to receive Chemotherapy, or treatment. It is quite humbling to be around the true survivors.

Thank you , Pedal the Cause, Powered by Hope , all the teams , volunteers involved in this amazing event.
