In fact, 100 percent of your contribution will go directly to support cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kid's at St. Louis Children's Hospital.
Team Powered By Hope is thrilled to once again ride in honor of Harper Grace for this year's Pedal The Cause! Harper Grace, a spirited 8 1/2-year-old, is ready to conquer 3rd grade at Green Trails Elementary this fall. She's the proud big sister to her baby brother, Cooper, and truly the best "little bestie" a sibling could ask for. Diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis (NF1) at just 19 months old, Harper has faced incredible challenges. Her journey has included numerous hospital stays, chemotherapy, and a remarkable 10 brain surgeries to date. In addition to her tumors, she battles hydrocephalus, which has made getting her shunt to work properly a persistent challenge. Despite these hurdles, Harper is a true fighter. She diligently attends occupational, physical, and speech therapies every week. To monitor for tumor growth and vision loss, she undergoes a full brain and spine MRI and vision checks every three months. When she's not busy being a cancer-fighting superkid, Harper embraces life with joy and passion. You can find her dancing, singing, swimming, or finding creative ways to give back to her community. Her loves include Taylor Swift, Disney princesses, playing outside, Sunday School, unicorns, making crafts, playing with friends, the Missouri Tigers, Stitch, coloring, and Kid Strong! This fall, Harper has set her sights on two exciting goals: conquering the monkey bars and continuing to improve her reading skills. Way to go, Harper Grace! We are so inspired by your strength and spirit.
Of course we would never forget to ride in memory of our brave little 'Leo the Lion'; or in honor of DJ, Harper and Luca, our high schoolers; Allison and Peyton, our high school graduates; and Kaitlyn, our newly engaged, young lady! We love all of our kiddos!
