Not only does it help keep Camp's tuition supports available to those who reside in Maine and beyond, but it allows campers to experience a fully accessible, recreational facility and a whole lot of fun!! 

I can never express in words the true impact Pine Tree Camp has had on my life. I began working there in the early 1980s completely by accident. I began by working in the kitchen. I returned year after year and had the opportunity to explore several positions over time—counselor, head of cabin, arts and crafts, nature studies and overnight.

Camp provided me with a work ethic and allowed me to see the world as a series of "I cans"—I learned patience, community, communication and so much more! The experience decided my career path as a special educator of individuals with autism. I will continue to support and volunteer as long as I am able.
