Hi all,
Tommy was diagnosed with Pulmonary NK/T-cell lymphoma, a very rare, aggressive lung cancer. As many of you know, my mother's battle with lung cancer is what led me to running. Through running, I found a way to fund raise, and hopefully make an impact in providing support, resources, and ultimately, hopefully, a cure in the battle against lung cancer. Running ultimately led me to follow Tommy. While I do not know Tommy, we have had small interactions over the past few years, which, oddly enough, have made an impact on me. Now, Tommy, his wife, his kids, and his family face a battle similar to the one that is all too familiar to me. In times like these, his family could use any support possible.
I will be running the Two Faced 10k in North Park August 8th, 2020. 10k on the road. 10k on singletrack. For Rivs.
