Dolly (my dog) and I—well, mostly me—are running the Broad Street Run to raise money for the Fairmount Park Conservancy. This cause is especially close to Dolly’s heart (and paws) because it helps protect and maintain the nature spaces in Philadelphia that bring so much joy to people and pets alike.
Parks and green spaces don’t generate revenue, yet they provide something priceless—places to gather, play, and connect with nature. Whether it’s enjoying a picnic under a shady tree or watching your pup splash in a creek, these simple joys only exist if we actively support them. Without our help, they could disappear.
