Story

Dear Friends and Family,

As InMotion celebrates is 11th year of existence, I am in awe of how much this organization has grown and flourished. With your help we have been able to reach more and more families who are living with Parkinsons. Once again, I am asking for your support for a cause near and dear to me. As many of you know, Parkinson’s has touched my life in many ways. My father, Bert Nusbaum, lived with Parkinson’s for over 15 years. He taught us all the importance of exercise, working for causes you believed in, and persistence.  My friend Lee Handel, also lived by these goals. I have put my team together in honor and memory of these two fine men.

I invite you to participate and support our 10th Annual Pals In Motion event, Sunday, August 30th, 2026 at Beachwood High School in Beachwood, OH starting at 9am (with registration at 7:30am).  This year’s event will include a 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Walk, Obstacle Course and 100-Yard Dash Relay.

The funds raised from this event make it possible for InMotion to continue providing life-changing physical wellness, creative movement, arts, education, support and research programs to our Parkinson’s community, all at no cost to participants. Our ground-breaking programming and research have become models worldwide to help those living with Parkinson’s disease. Through last year’s event, Pals In Motion’s 1500 participants raised over $619,000, approximately one third of InMotion’s annual budget. This year’s goal of $600,000 will need all of your participation.

Put simply, InMotion is helping hundreds of people manage, and in many cases, slow the progression of their Parkinson’s disease.  To continue to meet the growing demand for our programs and to keep them free of charge to all who need them, your involvement and support of Pals In Motion is critical.

Please join and or donate to my team, Beth’s Believers: www.runsignup.com/bethsbelievers26

so that we can make a difference together in improving the lives of those living with Parkinson’s and honor friends and family who have fought and continue to fight the challenges of living with Parkinson’s disease. Hope to be walking with or for you on August 30th.

With gratitude,
Beth
