Pedal the Cause

In September, I’ll join over 3,000 other committed riders determined to make a difference in the fight against cancer and honor those we've lost to this devastating disease - including my friend, Holly Dyer-Glover who lost a long and courageous battle  with breast cancer in November of last year.  

Founded in 2010, with a singular focus to create A World Without Cancer, Pedal the Cause has rapidly evolved into a fundraising engine providing critical funding for early-stage cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

By employing a community-based model where 100 cents of every dollar goes to cancer research, Pedal the Cause has raised over $46 million since 2010, which in turn has attracted over $500 million in additional funding from the National Institutes of Health and other governmental entities focused on cancer research.
