I am running this year's Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic on behalf of the Junior League of New Orleans (JLNO), a 100-year-old organization with a legacy of service to the Greater New Orleans area. I have been a member of JLNO since 2019. I find JLNO to be making a significant impact by providing resources for people in the Greater New Orleans area through the Diaper Bank, Woman Entrepreneur Fellowship, and Scholarship, among others. This year I am on the sponsorship committee for the Women’s Leadership Summit and have found a real community with a diverse group of women on my committee. WLS is designed for women ready to elevate their personal and professional lives while driving meaningful change in their communities. Through these projects and the 40,000 hours its members dedicate annually, JLNO equips women to be more effective volunteers and leaders, recognizes and addresses community needs, and implements lasting change.
I am running for JLNO because they believe every woman in the Greater New Orleans area should have the opportunity to live a healthy, happy, and successful life. JLNO’s current community outreach provides direct service, educates the community, and advocates for issues that affect women. Please join me in advancing the wellbeing of GNO through JLNO’s innovative initiatives.
