I am raising money for HiTOPS as a part of my participation in the 2025 HiTOPS Princeton Half Marathon.
HiTOPS empowers young people with sex education, social support and communities that affirm them.
Last year alone, HiTOPS hosted over 120 support group sessions, almost 50 drop in sessions, held events for hundreds of young people and their allies, and educated over 2,200 people in schools, community groups and non-profit orgs! HiTOPS programs provide LGBTQ+ youth (and the adults who love them) with much-needed community and connection!
As a high school teacher, I see the impact that these sorts of programs have on our teens first-hand. Having their community and peers recognize and honor this important stage of self-discovery can make all the difference in their lives. For some, it's all they need to grow into who they were meant to be.
