I’m passionate about raising awareness for blood clots because this fight is personal. I’m a two‑time blood clot survivor, and by the grace of God, I’m still here. Too many people don’t know the signs or how quickly life can change, and sharing my story is my way of turning survival into purpose. March is Blood Clot Awareness Month. I’m committing to walk, run, or hike 100,000 steps and raise $1,000 to support education and prevention. Every step is a reminder of what I’ve overcome and a promise to help others get the second chance I was given.

Every year, more than 100,000 lives are lost due to blood clots, often a preventable and treatable condition. The National Blood Clot Alliance (NBCA), a dedicated nonprofit organization, is working tirelessly to raise awareness, improve prevention, and provide education to save lives.
