This is a 6K Run and a 1 mile walk. The walk is an out and back with moderate hills. The run, on the other hand, is a challenging race through some decent size hills. The first 45 registered for the walk or run will receive a performance running shirt. There will be some great fall foods available at the cider mill The race will take place out of Dyn's Cider Mile (Rt. 28 south of Richfield Springs) with all money raised going to the 4PetSake a Non-Profit Organization. The race is in memory of our dog Cole (a Standard Poodle) who passed away in April of 2015. In his hayday, he tackled these hills and enjoyed the views (a stream that flows into Canadarago as well as a great view of the lake, once you conquer the hills!
4PetSake is an organization that assists animal lovers in owning a cat or dog (neutered or spayed with all updated shots and veterinarian check) at a reduced cost. They also spay/neuter feral cats!
Please come out and help us keep Colie's memory alive as well as helping us in supporting such a worthy cause!!
