Join Us for "5 for 5" – Celebrating Five Years of Cupcheck Cancer!
Five years ago, we started Cupcheck Cancer with a simple goal: to bring people together through the game we love while making a difference in the fight against brain cancer. Now, as we celebrate our 5th anniversary, we’re setting an ambitious goal—to raise an additional $5,000 to support brain cancer research, awareness, and support for those affected.
We call it "5 for 5". Five incredible years, $5,000 more in the fight, and one unstoppable community.
This tournament and our new nonprofit, Live For KWags, are deeply personal causes for me. When I first met Kevin and eventually proposed to his daughter, I never imagined that just 3 months before our wedding, we'd be grasping with the reality that Kevin had brain cancer and wouldn't be with us for very long. I was lucky to be able to call him my father in-law, even if I really only got to enjoy it for a little over a year. Losing Kevin a month after our first daughter was born was an absolute gut punch. But the impact Kevin had on me has lasted ever since and drives me to live life the way Kevin did and would be proud of.
Our story isn't necessarily unique though. Brain cancer has touched so many lives, and we are committed to honoring those we've lost, supporting those still fighting, and funding the research that will one day hopefully lead to a cure. Every dollar raised goes toward making an impact—whether it’s advancing research, providing resources for families, or raising awareness about this devastating disease. I know first hand the mental, physical, and financial cost of brain cancer which is why we are driven to making a positive impact for others.
