It's my 22nd year walking in this race!! On race day, my knee will be 11 months-old and my hip will be 7-1/2 years old!!
As a six-time cancer survivor, this cause is very important to me! After all, I benefitted from a program funded by the race before even hearing about it!!
Caught early, there's life after cancer! Since my first cancer diagnosis in 1987, I've cannon-balled into the Arctic Ocean twice, wallowed in Antarctic hot springs once, and photographed the start of the Iditarod Dog Sled Race!!
