UpperEdge is proud to champion our 2nd Annual 8,000 Steps for 8p Walk on Wednesday, June 24th in support of the Project 8p Foundation!
As many of you know, this initiative holds a very special place in our hearts. Together, we’ll walk 8,000 steps in honor of all the incredible 8p heroes, especially our very own little hero, Olivia DeMonte, Ashley’s amazing daughter. Olivia was born with Chromosome 8p, a rare genetic condition affecting approximately 550 children worldwide. Families impacted by 8p face unique medical and developmental challenges, and the Project 8p Foundation works to fund research, provide resources, and build community for these children and their families.
This cause has become deeply meaningful to all of us. It reflects UpperEdge's core values: we show up, we support one another, and we rally behind causes that matter.

Last year, we raised over $20,000! This year, we’re setting our sights even higher:
- Exceed last year’s fundraising total
- Increase the number of walkers and participants
- Expand awareness and outreach beyond UpperEdge
