I'm supporting conservation in northwestern New Jersey by participating in Ridge and Valley Conservancy's Explore-a-Thon!
RVC has helped protect more than 5,000 acres of land in our region and currently cares for more than 2,700 acres -- many of their preserves have public hiking trails. This work produces many other benefits including climate resilience, wildlife habitat protection, and the human benefits of connecting with nature, including improved mental and physical health.
My favorite way to enjoy these places is by taking my dogs Jag and Axel for a hike. They invite you to join the movement and raise funds for fresh air, clean water and unspoiled forests.
You can support RVC by signing up as an explorer or helping me reach my fundraising goal with a donation. Together, we can protect the last best places left in Sussex & Warren counties.
