If you know me, you should know that I am very passionate about my support of and work with this wonderful foundation.
Why do I support this cause? It's to create a brighter future for my granddaughters. Hopefully by the time these girls get to be young ladies, there will be an early detection test for ovarian and other GYN cancers that are NOT able to be caught early enough. I support it because of the effort to spread awareness to the symptoms of these cancers. And I support it to help those who are dealing with these cancers and have been financially impacted by the cost of treatment.

LCBF focuses on early detection research, awareness education, and support services for GYN cancer patients and families. Since our founding in 2009, we have:
- provided emotional, educational, and direct financial support to thousands of GYN cancer patients, survivors, and co-survivors
- educated tens of thousands of Alabamians on GYN cancer prevention, signs & symptoms, and risk factors
- granted more than $750,000 for ovarian cancer early detection research
