Description

The 46th Annual Femmes Natales Runabout will take place on Saturday, October 4th, 2025!

We’d like to humbly introduce Mrs. Heidi Boudreaux as this year’s 46th Runabout recipient.
Heidi is an amazing Registered Nurse and currently works at Thibodaux Regional Health Systems. She is a loving wife and mother.

Heidi was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer in 2022. She underwent surgery and multiple rounds of treatment. One year after ringing the bell, Heidi got the devastating news that cancer was back, and began treatment once again. She has had to take a step back from her nursing career to focus on her health.

The organization of Femme Natales welcomes you to support Heidi Boudreaux as this year’s 46th Runabout recipient. Please mark your calendars for October 4th, 2025 for a day of celebrating Heidi through running, walking, food, drinks, music, and more. Your contribution to this cause is sincerely appreciated.

Meet Our Recipient : Heidi Boudreaux

In keeping with tradition, we are excited and proud to host the 46th annual Femmes Natales Runabout on Saturday, October 4th, 2025.  This year’s benefactor of the proceeds raised through this event is Heidi Boudreaux.

Heidi currently resides in Houma. She is married to Wayne Boudreaux and has three beautiful children, Aidan, Ashtin, and Austin. Heidi, who was initially a hairdresser, went back to school at Nicholls State University to pursue nursing. Heidi graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2021. In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, Heidi started her nursing career in the Critical Care Unit at Thibodaux Regional Health Systems. Heidi thrived as bedside critical care nurse, and with her compassionate, positive spirit, she would easily put a smile on any sick patient’s face and put them at ease.

At forty- four years old and just six months after starting her nursing career, Heidi was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. She received six rounds of chemotherapy, underwent surgery, and received three more rounds of chemotherapy. After one year of remission, a recurrence of her cancer was found in July of 2024. Since then, Heidi has undergone more chemotherapy and a clinical trial at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston. Heidi has taken a step back from her nursing career to focus on her health.

With your support, the financial burden will be lifted through the tradition of this Femme Natales event.  Come out to run, walk, and pass a good time!
