Help Us Raise Funds for Pediatric Brain Cancer Research
I'm participating in the 2026 BOO! Brain Cancer 5K/10K to help fund critical research for children battling pediatric brain cancer.
Brain cancer is now the leading cause of cancer-related death in children, and Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) and Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG) are among the deadliest forms. These devastating brain tumors are terminal, with most children surviving only 9–11 months after diagnosis. Approximately 300 children in the United States will be diagnosed with DIPG this year, and despite decades of research, there is still no cure.
No child deserves to be given a death sentence.
That's why I'm raising funds through the BOO! Brain Cancer 5K/10K. 100% of proceeds from this event support pediatric brain cancer research, with a focus on DIPG and DMG. Research offers hope for better treatments, longer survival, and ultimately a cure for children diagnosed in the future.
Funds raised benefit Princess Hailey's Hope Foundation, a volunteer-led nonprofit established in memory of Hailey Acevedo, who bravely battled DIPG for 17 months. The foundation's mission is to fund pediatric brain cancer research and support children and families facing these devastating diagnoses.
Every donation—large or small—helps fuel research and brings hope to children who desperately need more options.
Thank you for supporting my fundraiser and helping us change the future for kids facing pediatric brain cancer.
