Pedal the Cause

Thank you for your consideration to support Pedal the Cause 2026; this is my 13th year of participation.  I ride a bike for fresh air, exercise, an opportunity to clear my head.  I can do this individually, with friends or with my wife, Maureen.

I ride PTC to support cancer research as well as for family members and friends who have been impacted by Cancer.  Simply stated, I began and will continue riding PTC in memory of my Mom, Cathleen Regan Heitmann who passed away from Cancer in 2012.  A few years back I added my friend Rick Davis who was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.  He continues to fight, but it looks as if he has beaten AML.   2 years ago I added my Dad, Lester "Jack" Heitmann who passed away from Cancer in February.

Know that 100% of your donation will go directly to accelerating cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital.  Any amount is greatly appreciated.  Please consider helping me fight this good fight.  

I'm excited to ride again and enjoy the approximate 21 miles and this entire experience / cause.
