This June, I will be joining dozens of young people from West Humboldt Park who are running to support their summer programs at RCity! When school ends, these youth face the highest risk of violence and negative influences in their neighborhood. RCity provides safe spaces, invested mentors, paid apprenticeship opportunities, and other meaningful activities that allow them to grow and thrive!

My goal is to raise $1,000. This would support 2 students through our 10-week summer camp program, allowing each to experience 200-400 hours of structured, positive time this summer!  Here is what your donations can help provide:

• Safe and joyful summer camp experiences
• Field trips and enrichment activities
• Youth construction job-training opportunities
• Equipment for our tuck pointing apprentices
• Community events for neighborhood families
