Story

The Hope Autism Solutions - Woodbridge Day Program is dedicated to empowering adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing the support, resources, and sense of community they need to thrive beyond school. Our enriching day program focuses on building life skills, fostering independence, and creating meaningful social connections—all within a nurturing and engaging environment.

Throughout the week, participants enjoy a variety of meaningful activities alongside their peers and members of the Woodbridge community. We are incredibly grateful to the Township of Woodbridge for developing the beautiful Cypress Park and Greenhouse, located just steps from our main entrance. This incredible space allows our participants to engage in horticultural therapy and recreational activities, such as walking the track, playing soccer, and enjoying the volleyball and pickleball courts.

Our program offers a diverse range of experiences, including yoga, martial arts, swimming, and basketball, as well as participation in the Next Chapter Book Club at the Woodbridge Main Public Library. Additionally, our participants give back to the community through volunteer work at several local libraries and the Alliance Center for Independence. We also focus on developing essential daily living skills, such as grocery shopping, supply management, clerical organization, and more.

Music and creativity are also central to our program, with weekly Drumming Circle sessions led by JC Music & Wellness. We cherish our monthly gatherings and dances with fellow Our House, Inc. Day Program participants, along with exciting field trips throughout the year—including visits to Disney On Ice and Six Flags Great Adventure.

We’re thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of our second site in Woodbridge this spring! This expansion will introduce our brand-new Volunteer Action Program and SkillsUp Pre-Vocational Program, further enhancing opportunities for skill-building and community engagement.

We are so proud of the vibrant, inclusive community we continue to build—and we invite you to support us as we grow!

Your generous donation will help us continue offering vital programs, prevocational training, and enrichment activities that empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. Every contribution makes a difference in shaping a brighter future for our participants. Join us in making an impact.
