Help the History Hoofers for a Good Cause!
Each year the town of Lexington comes together to cheer on the Genesis Battle Green Run, a charity race helping dozens of local nonprofits. This year, we're once again buckling up our 18th century running shoes and collaborating with the Lexington Minute Men to raise money for next April!
The annual Paul Revere's Ride reenactment brings our two organizations together to kick off Patriots' Day with a historically accurate prelude. Had Paul Revere not been sent to Lexington specifically that night, would we have stood up against the British army at dawn? Likely not! The reenactment takes months of planning and comes with a hefty price tag for professional audio, police detail, and marketing - up to $10,000. To help offset the costs for our two nonprofits, all proceeds from our running team, the History Hoofers, will go directly to funding next year's performance.
