Celebrate Tolkien Week and Hobbit Day with the Hobbiton Beer Run through the Benton Harbor Arts District and Harbor Shores. (Tolkien Week is observed as the calendar week containing September 22, which is always observed as Hobbit Day.)

Participants can choose to run or walk the 5K course, or the 2.5K course. Both routes go from The Livery Microbrewery to North Pier Brewing Company and back.

Registration Fee includes:

  • Commemorative Logo Decal

  • Pint Glass

  • Custom Finisher Medal/Bottle Opener (first 125 registrants)

  • Custom Personalized Race Bib*

  • Entry into a random drawing for door prizes

$5 upgrades to short sleeve shirt in place of Pint Glass/Decal**

     *Register by 8/31 for name on bib
     ** Register by 9/16 to upgrade to shirt

Shirt is Anvil 980 Short Sleeve Lightweight SemiFitted style in a soft 100% Ringspun Cotton preshrunk, jersey knit.

Participants are required to be completely self-sufficient.  No water stops on the routes.

Participants must follow all CDC safe distancing guidelines

Participants must be in good health and symptom free from any illness for at least 2 weeks prior to the event

After picking up their race number, participants may immediately begin their race, if they choose.

Participants should not congregate with others outside of their household unit in the starting area.


Who doesn't love medals!?!? Back in 2020 we've got some great finisher medals that double as bottle openers. Available to the first 125 participants when they cross the finish line!
