Register for the free fun run/walk 5k in Troy, Ohio taking place on January 1, 2019, or choose the virtual 5k race option or January Challenge to do an activity wherever you are. Throughout the month of January, you can join the movement for social justice and raise awareness of human trafficking by participating in Free To Run Foundation's January Challenge for Social Justice. Run or walk a 5k virtually on New Year's Day, or any other day during the month, or choose another activity that you can use as a conversation starter or vehicle to promote awareness. Free To Run's community ambassadors may also plan formal or informal events in your area. Visit our website as January approaches to see if there are events scheduled in your area.
Troy OH 5k
A slight change from prior years, the New Year's Day Race for Hope 5k in Troy will be a free, no frills fun run/walk on the morning of January 1 in Troy. There will not be official timing or official results, so be sure to bring your watch if you want to track your time! We will provide some water and snacks to the participants (but we also encourage you to bring your own water bottle as we won't have water out on the course). Donations will be accepted both during sign-up and at the race, to help defray the costs, and to support our charity partners. The start and finish will be at the Gazebo on the river levee bike path by Hobart Arena.
