Hello!
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for the inaugural CFC Move for a Mission 5K Fundraiser. The CFC (Columbus Free Clinic) is a teaching free clinic comprised of students and faculty from several health professions colleges at The Ohio State University and surrounding local universities. CFC serves an essential role in the Columbus community, providing care for individuals with few or no places to turn to, and provides critical primary care services for thousands of patients a year. For me, personally, it's been a highlight of my medical education, and routinely reminds me of my "Why Medicine". The patients, colleagues, and providers I have met through CFC have welcomed me with open arms and truly feel like family. Through CFC, I've had the opportunity to grow and develop into a more well-rounded, empathetic, attentive, and detail-oriented clinician.
To advance our mission to care for our patients and teach the next generation of clinicians, we need your help. The funds from this fundraiser go directly back to the clinic to help secure necessary medical supplies, provide transportation for patients, and fund learning opportunities at conferences, amongst other routine costs.
