In 2024, I was diagnosed with DVT and PE. This was scary news to process, especially knowing Vinny and Henry were only 5 months old. Thankfully, they caught everything in time and after months of medication management, I am back to a new normal.  Healing from the DVT and PE took a very long time and it is an ongoing process of listening to my body anytime things feel off.  I could not have done it without my family and the doctors at AHN Jefferson. 

Stop the Clot has become a resource that has helped me connect with other blood clot survivors and access information about diagnosis, healing, and moving forward.
