East Avenue Grocery Run

I can't believe this is our 15th year. Year one was such a leap of faith, and looking back I am not sure I would have the nerve to do it now. We were on such a shoestring and so afraid of not even breaking even. Thank God for 'youthful' naivete, because now we support two dozen local food pantries and hot meal programs relied on by thousands of families in the Greater Rochester area. Our success has always been grassroots and thanks to the support of our generous friends who from day one registered to participate, who came out pre-dawn to volunteer and who made generous philanthropic gifts. Thank you!
