Be the eyes and ears on the course for the race, and make sure that the participants all stay on course!!

Volunteers for LRC events must be at least 18 years of age unless they are under the supervision of their parent/guardian. Volunteerism is at the heart of everything we do as a club, and we want to foster that spirit of giving back among the youth of our community. There are opportunities for minors to assist and earn service hours at our races with their parents/guardians. Please contact races@lakelandrunnersclub.org to coordinate these assignments.

Location

We will have two separate safety briefings.

Your specific locations will be distributed via email the week of the race. Everyone will report to their station by 7:00. The times listed below are the approximate times that runners will be passing by.

Safety Briefing at 6:30 AM at the statue on Lake Mirror (by the finish).
Roads Closed 7:15 AM thru 8:00 AM
Runners 7:30 AM thru 8:00 AM
CM1. Rose St - directs runners and removes barricade at 7:15
CM2. City Lot by Fire Station
CM3. Lake Mirror Center Entrance
CM4. Lake Mirror Center Exit
CM5. Indiana & Magnolia Building Enter/Exit
LPD 1- Main & Rose
LPD 2- Main & Lake Ave
LPD 3- Lemon & Lake Ave
LPD 4 - Orange & Lake Ave

Details

Be the first to greet the runners when they finish their journey as they cross the finish line. Keep runners moving, get them some water, and distribute finisher medals.
